As a creative professional, you will play a crucial role in driving visual storytelling and communicating complex ideas through impactful designs.

Job Description

Collaborate with clients to create engaging visuals that align with their brand identity and resonate with their target audience. Develop interactive communication design that stays current on global trends. Translate ideas into tangible design concepts and present them to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate illustrative skills with rough sketches and work on layouts ready for print
  • Work as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, other designers, account executives, web developers, and marketing specialists
  • Deliver on deadlines across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactively coordinate handoffs, share context, and align on shared goals
  • Stay current on design trends, software updates, and best practices
  • Contribute ideas for process improvements and new visual approaches
  • Assist in internal design reviews and share learnings with the team

To succeed in this role, you will need 2-3 years of professional experience in visual design, preferably in a creative agency or design studio. A Bachelor's degree in graphic design, visual arts, or a related field is required.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) is essential, along with a strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and execution across various mediums. Solid understanding of typography, colour theory, and design principles are also necessary.

Familiarity with motion graphics/video editing (After Effects, Premiere Pro) and web/UI tools (Figma, Adobe XD) is desired. Experience with PowerPoint, Google Slides, Sites, and other G Suite tools is beneficial. Curiosity about Generative AI and emerging design tech is a plus.
