Compliance Lawyer

Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Legal Professional to join our team as a Compliance Counsel.

• The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate compliance programs and the ability to advise on them, including monitoring risk and compliance issues and implementing mitigation/remediation solutions.

• You will review and draft policies, guidance notes, and SOPs related to regulatory compliance, and advise on data protection and privacy legislations, including incident management and record retention.

• In this role, you will support cyber security compliance and risk management, including advising on disclosure requirements and interacting with external vendors, and advise on compliance with immigration laws in EU, APAC, and MEA, including reviewing policy/guidance documents.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of applicable regulations, including Data Privacy, Cyber Security, Immigration, and Mobility.

• Ability to manage/support review and audit exercises in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, and good communication, interpersonal, and written communication skills.

Qualifications:

• LLB/LLM degree along with relevant experience as a compliance counsel, preferably in MNCs.
