Embroidery Artisan

We are seeking a skilled and creative embroiderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile design, embroidery, and textiles, with excellent technical skills and attention to detail.

• Design Development:
  • Create original fabric manipulation techniques, embroidery, textile designs, including patterns, prints, weaves, and innovative materials.
  • Develop color palettes and experiment with dyeing techniques, laser techniques, and mixing of other materials.
  • Research trends in fashion, textiles, and consumer preferences.
• Material Selection:
  • Choose appropriate fabrics and materials based on design requirements and functionality.
  • Source sustainable or innovative materials when needed.
• Technical Skills:
  • Use design software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or CAD to create digital designs.
  • Understand textile production processes, including weaving, knitting, printing, and dyeing.
  • Create technical specifications for manufacturers.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with fashion designers, product developers, and manufacturers to ensure designs align with the overall vision.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to understand target audiences and market trends.
• Prototyping and Sampling:
  • Develop prototypes and samples to test designs.
  • Make adjustments based on feedback and production feasibility.
• Quality Control:
  • Ensure that the final textiles meet quality standards and design specifications.
  • Address any issues during production.
• Sustainability and Innovation:
  • Explore eco-friendly materials and sustainable production methods.
  • Stay updated on new technologies and innovations in textile design.
  Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Creative Skills:
    • Strong sense of color, pattern, and texture.
    • Ability to translate ideas into visually appealing designs.
  • Technical Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in textile design software (e.g., Adobe Suite, CAD).
    • Understanding of fabric properties, weaving, knitting, and printing techniques.
