Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to fill this role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing 3D CAD models for products across various industries using plastics, sheet metal, weldments, and machined parts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing and design 3D CAD models for products using SolidWorks.
  • Set up and perform basic FEA analysis to validate product designs.
  • Apply creative problem-solving skills in product development to ensure efficient and effective solutions.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team and contribute to project success by communicating project updates clearly with clients.
  • Handle detailed engineering of complex components and ensure they meet required specifications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficient in 3D modeling using SolidWorks (certification or formal training is a plus).
  • Familiar with manufacturing processes like injection molding, sheet metal fabrication, welding, 3D printing, and thermoforming.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with Siemens NX is an advantage.
  • Experience in team coordination and project delivery.
