Senior Backend Software Engineer Position

About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Backend Software Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about building high-performance applications, and enjoys solving complex problems using modern backend technologies.

The successful candidate will have a solid foundation in Java and Spring Boot, with a strong understanding of microservices architecture. They will design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance microservices, develop RESTful APIs, and integrate with third-party systems and services.

In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will be a strong communicator with excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. They will participate in architecture and design discussions, contribute to system-level decisions, and collaborate closely with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams to deliver quality software on time.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement microservices using Java and Spring Boot
  2. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party systems and services
  3. Participate in architecture and design discussions
  4. Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps engineers, and QA teams
Requirements
  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of professional experience in Java development
  • Strong understanding of core Java, collections, concurrency, and JVM internals
  • Deep experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Spring Data JPA
Nice to Have
  • Familiarity with Domain Driven Design (DDD)
  • Exposure to frontend technologies like Angular or React
