Job Summary:

The Senior Hairstylist is a key member of our team at FASHION TV, responsible for delivering exceptional hair care services and creating a positive customer experience. This role requires a skilled and creative individual who can stay updated on current hair trends and techniques to consistently deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and desires
  • Perform hair cutting, styling, and coloring services
  • Stay updated on the latest industry trends and techniques
  • Provide excellent customer service and build long-lasting client relationships
  • Advise clients on proper hair care and maintenance
  • Keep workstations clean and organized
  • Operate and maintain salon equipment
  • Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment
  • Manage appointment schedules and client bookings
  • Participate in regular training and skill development programs
  • Promote and sell salon products and services
  • Comply with health and safety regulations
  • Resolve client complaints or concerns in a professional manner
  • Assist junior staff and provide mentorship
  • Contribute to the overall success and growth of the salon

Required Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a hairstylist or senior hairstylist
  • Valid state cosmetology license
  • Demonstrated expertise in hair cutting, coloring, and styling
  • Excellent knowledge of hair care products and treatments
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Up-to-date with industry trends and best practices
  • Flexibility to work on weekends, evenings, and holidays
  • Basic understanding of business and sales principles
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive motions
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving abilities
  • Team player with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Willingness to participate in continuous education and training
  • Portfolio or examples of previous work may be required
