Job Title: Search Specialist

A key role exists for a skilled Search Specialist to design and implement advanced search solutions using cutting-edge technologies.

About the Position:
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in search solution development, focusing on data integrity, performance, and scalability.
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered search experiences is essential, including applications like query understanding and learning to rank.
  • Proficiency in Python programming, particularly with APIs, and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI are required.
  • Strong knowledge of search concepts is necessary, including analysers, tokenisers, relevance tuning, custom scoring, and query DSL.
  • The successful candidate will be skilled in designing and optimising search pipelines and custom query builders.
Key Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience working with Elasticsearch or OpenSearch in production environments.
  • Deep understanding of search principles and ability to apply them in complex business scenarios.
  • Expertise in search pipeline development and query builder creation is crucial.
  • Experience with API development using Python and familiarity with framework such as FastAPI is highly desirable.
