Job Opportunity: Head HSE Position
">We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to fill the role of Head HSE, responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive health, safety, and environment (HSE) strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop, implement, and maintain a robust HSE strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with industry best practices.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective control measures to mitigate risks.
- Investigate and analyze incidents to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge and skills to perform their jobs safely.
- Track and report on key HSE performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Liaise and foster strong communication channels and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in a metal & mining industry.
- Approved Safety officer as per Odisha Factory Act.
- Strong knowledge of Factory Act, Environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Experience in green field/brown field expansion projects.
- Experience in environmental compliance and permitting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
