Key Role: Business Case Writer

The ideal candidate will collaborate with faculty to research, develop, write, and publish high-quality business case studies for academic instruction, publication, and use in teaching.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market, industry, and organizational research to gather data required for case study development
  • Collaborate with faculty to clarify objectives, learning outcomes, and case formats
  • Write engaging case studies that include background context, decision points, alternative courses of action, supporting data, and teaching notes
  • Ensure accuracy through verification and citations; maintain academic integrity
  • Revise drafts based on feedback from faculty/stakeholders; ensure clarity, relevance, engagement
  • Support the process of preparing cases for external publishing, case competitions, or inclusion in outlets
  • Meet project timelines and manage multiple assignments simultaneously
Requirements:
  • A master's degree in Business / Management / Case Writing / Communications, or a related field; PhD preferred
  • Proven publication record: at least 10 completed and published case studies or similar works such as detailed business reports with teaching notes
  • Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills; ability to compose narratives that are analytically strong, engaging, and pedagogically sound
  • Strong research skills, including interviewing, data gathering, qualitative and quantitative analysis
  • Familiarity with business case formats, and experience in academic settings or business school pedagogies
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with faculty and stakeholders
  • Good time management skills and ability to deliver under deadlines
