About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Western Violin Teacher to teach students of various age groups and skill levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in violin performance and pedagogy, with excellent teaching skills to inspire students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct live 1:1 online violin classes using structured lesson plans based on the school's curriculum and student progress.
  • Teach fundamental techniques such as scales, ragas, compositions, and improvisation, as well as music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills.
  • Guide students in preparation for certification exams, recitals, and competitions, providing constructive feedback and mentorship throughout their musical journey.
Eligibility Criteria:
  • Minimum qualification: Grade 5 in Violin from a reputable institution or equivalent.
  • At least 4 years of prior teaching experience in violin.
  • Strong understanding of swara, tala, ragas, compositions, and improvisation techniques.
  • Proficiency in Hindi and English, with additional regional languages being an asset.
