We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Engineer to join our cloud and cybersecurity team.

The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of our business applications.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance Newgen Managed Cloud Solutions on Newgen product platforms.

  • Design and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS and Azure platforms.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Monitor and maintain cloud systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
  • Collaborate with Solutioning and Product Engineering teams for optimized cloud infrastructure deployments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues across cloud environments.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
  • Ensure security and compliance in cloud environments adhering to best practices and regulations.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for cloud infrastructure upgrades, patches, and configurations.
  • Track and monitor SLAs and ensure timely closure of customer tickets.
Requirements">
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
  • Associate-level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Administrator).
  • Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with networking and security protocols (OSI model, VPCs, security groups, NAC, firewalls, WAF, DNS, DHCP, FTP, HTTP/S, SMTP).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications">
  • Experience working with hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
  • Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or equivalents.
