Job Overview

The Role of a Subject Manager entails overseeing numerous Subject Experts and collaborating closely with other Subject Administrators to fulfill project requirements.

This is a managerial position that combines support responsibilities, requiring the ability to manage large groups of Subject Experts effectively.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Developing high-quality questions for assessments
  • Content creation - MCQs in GK & Current Affairs
  • Structuring and designing question banks; establishing quality standards for writing and review in respective domains
  • Tracking inventory and maintaining optimal levels of item availability in assigned non-STEM domains/subjects
  • SME Management:
  • Defining selection criteria and strategy
  • Monitoring SME performance quality
  • Training and developing SME pools in different domains/subjects
  • Coordinating extensively with SMEs for all test development activities
  • Test designing: creating test designs in subjects of expertise and coordinating with SMEs to finalize test designs in other domains/subjects
  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders to fulfill requirements for test items and question sets
  • Supporting Lead Subject Administrator in delivering projects and other organizational requirements
  • Post-exam analysis, reporting to higher management

Requirements:

  • Subject competency in school subjects till 12th level as per NCERT syllabus
  • Broad understanding of education systems in the country and NCERT/CBSE/Boards
  • Experience in the education sector related to assessment & evaluation - test designs/blueprints, question development
  • Good command over English both written and spoken
  • Good command over spoken Hindi

Prior Experience:

  • At least 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
Key Requirements

We seek an individual with subject competency in school subjects till 12th level as per NCERT syllabus, along with a good command over English both written and spoken and spoken Hindi.
