As a key player in technical specification development, you will be responsible for creating and reviewing comprehensive technical specifications for data centers, HVAC hardware, and IT infrastructure projects.

Working closely with engineering, sales, and project management teams, you will craft innovative solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

You will engage directly with clients to understand their needs and provide expert technical support. Additionally, you will oversee the preparation of high-quality technical documents, including specification sheets, proposal documents, and compliance reports.

Regularly liaising with senior management, you will report on project progress and specification status. Maintaining in-depth knowledge of industry trends, new products, and emerging technologies within the data center, HVAC, and IT infrastructure domains is crucial.

Key responsibilities include ensuring that all specifications are thoroughly tested and validated to meet technical, regulatory, and performance standards. You will also conduct training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to upskill sales teams and other internal departments.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • 6-8 years of experience in a technical role with expertise in specification management
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, technology, or related fields
  • Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of data center operations, HVAC systems, and IT infrastructure solutions
  • Effective communication skills to convey technical details to non-technical stakeholders and senior management
  • Proficiency in industry tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, or relevant simulation software)
