Job Role: Data Specialist

About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled data specialist with hands-on experience in designing, building, and optimizing scalable data pipelines to join our team.

  • Design and build ETL/ELT pipelines using AWS Glue, Lambda, and DBT to enable seamless data integration, transformation, and analytics.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Snowflake for scalability and performance.
  • Write efficient and optimized SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading.

This role requires collaboration with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to understand data requirements, ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across all platforms, monitoring and troubleshooting data pipelines, automating workflows, and integrating data from multiple internal and external sources.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and security best practices, as well as experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).

Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake Data Warehouse, including data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services, including Lambda, Glue, S3, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Proficiency in DBT for data transformations and modular pipelines.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, including complex queries and performance optimization.
