We are seeking an accomplished Video Editor to lead the development of captivating video content that embodies adventure and community spirit. The ideal candidate will craft compelling and visually engaging video content tailored for social media platforms, ensuring alignment with our brand identity and content strategy.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos, reels, shorts, and promotional materials, optimizing visual storytelling and user experience.
  • Apply creative editing techniques, including transitions, color grading, motion graphics, text animations, and sound design to elevate narrative impact.
  • Collaborate closely with content creators, videographers, and social media teams to deliver timely, brand-consistent content that resonates with diverse audiences.
  • Optimize videos for various social media formats and aspect ratios to maximize viewer engagement and drive results.
  • Manage and maintain a well-organized library of video assets, including raw footage, graphics, and finished projects, ensuring seamless collaboration and efficiency.
  • Stay up-to-date with digital video trends, editing styles, and social media platform algorithms to inform creative decisions and adapt to changing user preferences.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Film Production, Media, Communication, or related fields, demonstrating a strong foundation in video production principles.
  • 5-7 years of professional experience in video editing, showcasing expertise in software proficiency and project delivery.
  • Proficiency with video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and Adobe After Effects, as well as AI tools, to leverage innovative technologies and enhance creativity.
  • Demonstrated ability in visual storytelling, pacing, and timing to deliver impactful content that captures audience attention.
  • Understanding of video optimization strategies for different social media platforms, enabling informed decisions about content distribution and audience engagement.
  • Strong attention to detail, creativity, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
