Our organization is looking for a seasoned software engineer to assume responsibility for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our online services. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of complex applications and be skilled in administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems.

Key responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact for the overall health, performance, and capacity of one or more Internet-facing services, gaining deep knowledge of our complex applications, assisting in the roll-out and ramp up of new product features and technologies, developing tools to improve our ability to rapidly deploy and effectively monitor custom applications in a large-scale Linux environment, and participating in a 24x7 rotation for second-tier escalations.

The successful candidate will possess a B.S. or higher in Computer Science or other technical discipline, or related practical experience, with at least 5 years of experience with administration and troubleshooting of Unix/Linux systems, and 5+ years of experience coding in one or more programming languages like Rust, Go, Python, Perl, Ruby etc.
