About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cloud Architect Lead to join our team at Fractal. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and building DevOps capability for Cloud services. This includes planning, designing, and developing Cloud Infrastructure-based architecture and solutions.

You will work closely with clients to deliver outcomes per the Service-Level Agreement (SLA) and Service Level Objective (SLO). Your responsibilities will also include architecting, designing, developing, deploying, and documenting new systems or maintaining existing systems on Cloud Platforms based on specifications.

Additionally, you will collaborate with Agile development teams to adopt and promote Cloud best practices, economies of scale, and drive cloud security and compliance. You will engage with customers to understand their use cases and operational needs, as well as work with Cloud Platform vendors to understand their technology roadmaps and evolution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and build DevOps capability for Cloud services
  • Plan, design, and develop Cloud Infrastructure-based architecture and solutions
  • Work closely with clients to deliver outcomes per the SLA and SLO
  • Architect, design, develop, deploy, and document new systems or maintain existing systems on Cloud Platforms based on specifications
  • Collaborate with Agile development teams to adopt and promote Cloud best practices, economies of scale, and drive cloud security and compliance
  • Engage with customers to understand their use cases and operational needs
  • Work with Cloud Platform vendors to understand their technology roadmaps and evolution

Requirements

  • Well-versed with IaaS and PaaS services of Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS
  • Strong understanding and implementation of DevSecOps Framework
  • Understand the technical, financial, and organizational requirements and constraints of enterprise customers
  • Demonstrate ability to architect enterprise-ready, secure, and scalable solutions in the cloud optimized for cost
  • Hands-on experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, OCI, etc.) and microservices architecture
  • Hands-on experience with Unix and Linux-based systems, shell scripting
  • Solid understanding of design principles for resilient, scalable, high-performing distributed applications
  • Experience with automation, orchestration, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and other tools
  • Have integrated code quality and security tools in CICD
  • Worked with build and release to Azure services like Azure WebApp, Logic App, Data Factory, Databricks, and other services
  • Ability to work on multiple projects, collaborate effectively with multiple teams, and be flexible to adapt to changing requirements
  • Good understanding of Infrastructure as a Code script like Terraform, ARM, Pulumi, or others
  • Experience in programming languages like Python, Bash, Perl, VBScript, GoLang, will be an added advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps
  • B.E/B.Tech, BCA, MCA equivalent
  • Cloud DevOps/Architecture certification
