What We Do

The Corporate IT team at Sun Life is seeking an experienced Informatica Power center / IICS developer to join our Gurugram, India office.

This role involves developing, integrating, operating, and delivering solutions for the corporate finance chargeback area, focusing on Chargeback data processing and dependent systems.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Understand project scope, identify activities/tasks, task-level estimates, schedule, dependencies, risks, and provide inputs to Program Lead for review.
  • Analyze, design, and develop robust ETL solutions that meet business requirements for investments applications.
  • Prepare/modify design documents based on business requirements.
  • Work independently with a bias toward action and results.
  • Perform production support activities, including on-call support during India daytime.
  • Tune performance, automate processes, and improve efficiency.
  • Coordinate delivery of assigned tasks with onshore Partners or/and Business Analysts.
  • Evaluate possible issues/problems, options, and recommendations for prompt resolution.
  • FOLLOW development standards to ensure clear, efficient, logical, and maintainable code.
  • Create and maintain application documentation, such as Network diagrams, technical project handbooks, technical data mapping docs, unit test documents, and implementation plans.
  • Adhere to SLF Information Security Policies and General Computing Control in all situations.
  • Take ownership of work assignments and ensure successful E2E delivery.
  • Develop strong analytical skills to understand user requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with large teams in onsite-offshore models.
  • Ensure clear, understandable, and audience-appropriate written and verbal communication.

Key Qualifications and Experience

  • A degree in Computer Science or related technology field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-4.6 years of overall IT experience.
  • At least 2+ years of experience with Informatica Power center / IICS.
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases (Oracle/MS SQL server).

Estimated Salary: ₹9,50,000 - ₹12,00,000 per annum
