About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team at Nasdaq. As a Senior Data Scientist, you will be responsible for owning the analysis and modeling for complex and large data sets. You will work closely with our experienced team to deliver complex technology solutions to international clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement complex predictive modeling and manipulate large datasets from diverse sources.
  • Collaborate with senior business leaders and customers to identify strategic business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain research reports describing experiments, results, and findings, and make recommendations to technology, product, and senior management.
  • Partner with technology and business leaders to explore business partnering opportunities with strategic clients.
  • Articulate complex hypotheses and predictive modeling in commercial terms to influence product development.
  • Present data science concepts internally to gain understanding and commitment on exploring joint business ideas with large and strategic clients.
  • Lead cross-functional inputs on key data science work and translate into profitable business streams.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience with at least 5+ years as a Lead Data Scientist.
  • Proven experience as a Machine Learning Architect or AI.
  • Strong programming skills in one or more analytical tools such as R, SQL, or Python.
  • Experience in Trade Surveillance.
  • Experience working with big data, identifying trends, patterns, and outliers in large volumes of data.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Strong presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas.
  • Education Qualification: Bachelor's or Master's in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
