About Our Procurement Role

We are seeking an experienced procurement professional with expertise in managing electrical and electronic commodities within the automotive sector.

This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled buyer who can drive strategic sourcing initiatives, vendor development, localisation, and cost optimisation to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procure automotive electrical & electronic commodities such as wiring harnesses, sensors, switches, relays, fuses, connectors, control units/ECUs, lighting systems, and instrument clusters & other electronic sub-systems.
  • Develop and implement lead supplier identification, evaluation, and development strategies.
  • Analyse market trends, raw material cost fluctuations, and new technologies in automotive electronics to ensure best-in-class performance.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers, engineering, and quality teams to ensure reliable sourcing at competitive costs.
Requirements
  • Proven expertise in strategic sourcing, vendor development, localisation, and cost management.
  • Strong negotiation, cost analysis, and supplier management skills.
  • Exposure to APQP, PPAP, and supplier quality processes in the automotive industry.
  • ERP knowledge (SAP/Oracle or equivalent) and MS Office proficiency.
