Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Field Application Engineer at Copeland, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong technical relationships with key accounts, inspiring confidence in our platform. You will understand customer technical requirements and recommend the appropriate software and hardware solutions. You will collaborate with account teams, taking the lead on technical strategies for the accounts. You will stay ahead of industry trends, identifying and addressing future customer technical needs. You will act as the voice of the customer, influencing our technical direction and product development.

Requirements:

  • You are passionate about solving complex technical problems and have a customer-centric approach.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and can easily adapt to new challenges.
  • You have a strong ability to communicate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • You are self-motivated, a quick learner, and have a strong desire to grow in a customer-facing engineering role.
  • You have an undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math).
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in the Test and Measurement industry.
  • You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in Aerospace and Defense industries, especially in a customer-facing role.
  • You have experience collaborating closely with sales teams and communicating technical information to customers.
  • You have solid knowledge of Automated Test software and hardware platforms.
  • You have excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with fluency in English.
  • You are willing and able to travel within India (~50%) and occasionally to APAC and the US (~20%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • You have a background in Electronics and Communication or Mechatronics or Automotive Engineering.
  • You have hands-on experience with RF Fundamentals and Measurements.
  • You have proficiency in software tools such as NI LabVIEW, .NET, Python, C++, and software design patterns.
  • You have certifications in NI LabVIEW and NI TestStand development patterns.
  • You have experience in FPGA programming and fixed-point algorithm development.
