U.S. Financial Operations Specialist

Accounting Expertise Required
Our organization seeks an experienced accounting specialist to oversee all aspects of U.S. financial operations. This position is vital in supporting our finance department, ensuring accuracy and compliance, as well as timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Process weekly timesheets & client invoices
- Verify payroll/accounting data submissions
- Produce regular reports utilizing QuickBooks
- Manage AP/AR accounts and reconciliations
- Assist with GL entries, month-end close, and financial statement preparation according to U.S. GAAP standards
- Track/manage PO expirations & related documentation
- Maintain master data for employees, customers, and vendors
- Communicate with state agencies regarding payroll, unemployment, and tax matters
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in U.S. accounting/bookkeeping (staffing/consulting a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial regulations
- Experience with payroll, AP/AR, and expense management systems
- Proficiency in QuickBooks
- Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and reconciliations
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
