Technical Leadership Role

The role involves leading and planning the execution of various business, technical and project functions.

  • Develop and review project scopes, reports, schedules and budgets to meet schedule and budget requirements.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders to identify and realise business opportunities.
  • Evaluate technical competence of staff proposed for projects and identify specific training needs.
  • Lead an engineering team to ensure client satisfaction and effective technical management.
  • Provide leadership by taking technical line management responsibility for team members.
  • Coach and mentor senior professionals to support talent development.
  • Oversight of the technical delivery of major and complex projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver multi-discipline projects.
  • Contribute to the production of high quality winning pursuits.
  • Maintain records of Continuing Professional Development.

Key Qualifications:

  • BEng/MSc or equivalent in Civil/Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered professional status.
  • Leadership experience in engineering solutions development.
  • Independent judgement, professional commitment and responsibility.
  • Inter-personal and communication skills.
  • Strong technical skills in Structural design.
  • Leadership around health, safety and welfare.
  • Experience in managing business relationships.
  • Knowledge of sustainable development best practice.
