Position Purpose

The role holder shall be responsible for supporting SAP HR and SAP SuccessFactors projects and providing day-to-day support within a SAP HR Centre of Excellence. This includes analyzing, designing, documenting, configuring, testing, and supporting the HR-related module to meet the business needs of PI Industries. The role holder shall work closely with internal customers to deliver, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance HR systems functionality.

Strategic Responsibilities

  • Identify and recommend enhancements to HR-related systems based on a thorough understanding of the business needs and process-related changes.
  • Design and implement HR initiatives related to IT, such as talent acquisition, employee development, and performance management.
  • Define and actively champion continuous improvements in methods, processes, and technologies that produce high-performance integration solutions.
  • Lead strategic HR projects in the digital space for RPA, analytics, chatbots, and collaboration tools.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of employee compensation structures, payroll integration, and time and attendance systems.
  • Responsible for bringing up-to-market tech solutions, such as face recognition-based access controls, employee collaboration tools, and advanced analytics.

Operational Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the creation of functional specifications and consult on conceptual design reviews for HR tech-related requirements.
  • Develop project plans for implementation by duly prioritizing change requests received.
  • Responsible for unit, integration, and system integration testing and UAT support, including interfaces.
  • Participate in knowledge transfer, transition sessions, and building processes, incident repositories.
  • Solution documentation and reporting to the team lead according to agreed guidelines.
  • Lead projects that enhance HR processes and technology solutions.
  • Knowledge transfer to customers within the project (train-the-trainer approach) Support/participate in production validation.
  • Responsible for participating in daily scrum meetings and reporting progress and possible issues to the team lead. Status and issue reporting to the team lead.
  • Design and implementation of third-party integrations, including technical design.
  • Responsible for preparing mapping specifications, functional specifications, test case documents.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Manage operational costs; conduct near- and long-term financial forecasts for expanded functionality/user base.
  • Monitor and adhere to the budgets allocated to the department.

People Responsibilities

  • Attend trainings on training needs identified or imparted by HR to enhance performance.

Education Qualification

  • Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science - B. Tech., B.E, MCA, M.Sc. IT, BCA, MBA (IT) or MBA.

Work Experience

  • 12-15 years plus experience in IT HR (SuccessFactors, SAP HCM, Payroll & attendance systems) configuration with minimum 2 End-to-End Implementation and at least three Support Projects.

  • Transferring requirements to production and support.
