Senior Backend Engineer

We're seeking a skilled Backend Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js. This role requires strong expertise in server and database performance optimization, effective caching strategies, authentication and authorization, microservices and event-driven systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deploy high-quality code following SOLID principles
- Collaborate with DevOps to deploy, monitor and scale services in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Mentor junior developers and conduct regular code reviews
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues to maintain high system reliability
- Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and automation workflows
- 3.5+ years of backend development experience
- Proficient in Node.js, Express.js, and RESTful API design
- Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, query optimization, and schema design
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture, message queues, and microservices
- Understanding of backend security standards and system design principles
- Exposure to DevOps tools, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployments
- Strong collaboration and problem-solving skills
