We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Architecture Strategist to drive the design and implementation of our application, data, and cybersecurity architecture.

  • Design secure architecture for cloud environments, leveraging industry best practices and cloud security services.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify security requirements and integrate security controls into the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and implement security solutions using Azure Security Center recommendations and Azure Policy.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and manage security configurations for cloud resources.
  • Develop and enforce security measures for APIs, including authentication, authorization, and threat protection.
  • Implement API security best practices and manage API gateways to ensure secure data exchange.

Requirements:

  • Mastery of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
  • Strong knowledge of designing secure networks, applications, and cloud architectures, including understanding firewalls, VPNs, and microservice architectures.
  • Expertise in IAM principles, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization techniques.
  • Familiarity with security tools, such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, and endpoint protection.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing secure network architectures for on-premises environments.
  • Hands-on experience with security architecture for eCommerce platforms, particularly Magento.
  • Mastery of microservice architectures to enhance system scalability, flexibility, Security and maintainability.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of API protocols (REST, SOAP, GraphQL), authentication, and authorization techniques.
  • Experience with API gateway management using tools like Azure API Management, Kong, or Apigee.
  • Proficiency in Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Kubernetes Service (AKS), Functions, and Storage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently to deliver expected outcomes.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with ability to provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
