Job Title:

Learning and Development Strategist


We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Strategist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering engaging learning programs that meet the needs of our employees.


Your primary focus will be on designing training content using instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies. You will also facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions, ensuring seamless execution of learning programs including onboarding, compliance, and functional training.


To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methods. You should also have experience with vendor partnerships and content providers, as well as assessing training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations.


Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can develop customized learning plans in collaboration with department heads. You should also have experience introducing innovative L&D strategies, including digital learning, gamification, and microlearning.


In addition to these responsibilities, you will be expected to track training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms. You will also maintain training records and reports for compliance and strategic planning purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and deliver engaging learning programs (workshops, e-learning, coaching, etc.)
  2. Design training content using instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies
  3. Facilitate in-person and virtual training sessions
  4. Ensure seamless execution of learning programs, including onboarding, compliance, and functional training
  5. Standardize processes, quality, and learner experience across geographies and business lines
  6. Manage vendor partnerships and content providers to deliver high-quality, cost-effective learning
  7. Assess training needs through surveys, interviews, and performance evaluations
  8. Work with department heads to develop customized learning plans
  9. Introduce innovative L&D strategies, including digital learning, gamification, and microlearning
  10. Track training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms
  11. Continuously improve programs based on feedback and business needs
  12. Maintain training records and reports for compliance and strategic planning
  13. Support leadership development programs and career progression plans
  14. Drive a learning culture through internal knowledge-sharing initiatives
  15. Manage LMS (Learning Management System) and other learning tools
  16. Partner with HR, managers, and external trainers to align learning with business objectives
  17. Stay updated with L&D trends and best practices
  18. Manage L&D budgets and vendor relationships when needed
