Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the payroll department, you will be responsible for analyzing data and transactions, supporting all payroll functions, and ensuring the accuracy of payroll production.

The ideal candidate will have experience in US and Canada payroll processing with expertise in French Language. You will also be responsible for complete and accurate processing of employee information, researching and adjusting wages and/or taxes, and updating the employee payroll database in compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements.

You will perform rigorous quality checks on payroll data to ensure accuracy and avoid unnecessary re-work. Additionally, you will support the delivery of payroll services to agreed timelines, implement changes to policies and procedures, and operate the payroll 'Service Now Ticketing System' to resolve routine employee queries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze data and payroll transactions
  • Support all payroll functions and programs impacting employees
  • Responsible for complete and accurate processing of employee information
  • Researching and adjusting wages and/or taxes
  • Accurately update the employee payroll database
  • Perform rigorous quality checks on payroll data
  • Support the delivery of payroll services to agreed timelines
  • Implement changes to policies and procedures
  • Operate the payroll 'Service Now Ticketing System'
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma Required
  • 2 years US and Canada Payroll Experience Required
  • Knowledge of Dayforce Payroll and Workday HR a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Attention to detail
  • Accurate and efficient data entry skills
  • Ability to follow documented processes
  • Ability to work within deadlines
  • Ability to work in a team environment
