Job Title: Schedule Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Schedule Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and updating project schedules, supporting project managers in bid preparation and schedule analysis, and performing data integrity checks.

Responsibilities:
  • Create and update project schedules using MS Project and/or P6.
  • Support project managers in budget preparation and schedule analysis for bids and proposals.
  • Perform data integrity checks to ensure accuracy of schedule reporting.
  • Analyze project trends to identify areas for improvement.
  • Incorporate changes to baseline plans and forecasted dates into scheduling tools.
  • Review impacts on schedule delivery milestones and produce recovery plans.
  • Timely identify, notify, resolve, and record deviations from the current plan.
  • Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and resource budgets in project schedules.
  • Collaborate with project teams, construction teams, and stakeholders to gather progress data.
  • Create and submit regular reports highlighting variances to current baselines.
  • Record project scope modifications and contribute to change order submissions.
  • Support portfolio monitoring and controlling across Canada.
Qualifications:
  • Over five years of experience in scheduling for the construction industry.
  • University degree or diploma in engineering or business administration, or equivalent experience.
  • Expertise in Primavera P6 and proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and Microsoft Project.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to support project managers, coordinators, and construction staff.
  • Certifications like PMI's PMP or AACE International's EVP are desirable.
  • Able to compile detailed reports in narrative, graphical, and tabular format.
