Spotfire Administrator

Tata Consultancy Services presents an exciting opportunity for a Spotfire Admin to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering and optimizing our Spotfire Server architectures.

• We are looking for an experienced administrator with in-depth knowledge of Spotfire Server architecture and experience with high node servers.
• You will be responsible for rearchitecting existing Spotfire servers for better handling of web players and loads on the server.
• Your expertise in local disc caching, improving routing using smart resource pools, and configuring Spotfire using smaller machines will be valuable assets to our team.

• Optimize Spotfire Server architectures for better performance.
• Rearchitect existing Spotfire servers as needed.
• Configure Spotfire using smaller machines (EC2 farm horizontal scaling).
• Implement improve Spotfire routing.
• Shared disc caching across node manager groups.
• User experience improvement and proactive approach for server performance improvement.
• Isolate bad actors and reduce the impact of restarts.
• Reduce dashboards downtime and improve volatility metric.
• Create and monitor all Spotfire scheduled update jobs for multiple environments.
• Installation of multiple versions of Spotfire Servers like Spotfire Web player server, Spotfire Professional Server, and Spotfire Automation Services Server.
• Good knowledge on Web.config and Bootstrap.xml files to create and troubleshoot.
• Experience in TIBCO Spotfire Server HotFix, Spotfire Client HotFix, and Automation Server package deployments.
• Handling access for different roles to users and groups.
• Handling action logs using file and database level.
• Standardizing Spotfire environment with Best practices.
• Establish and maintain Spotfire environment health checks.
• Ldap configuration settings.
• IIS and Spotfire service restart.
• Understanding metadata of Spotfire using GUID.
• Folder management and implement security.
• Knowledge on service now or any ticketing tool- Requests, Incidents, Change management-ITIL process.

• 4-13 years of experience in Spotfire administration.
• Strong understanding of Spotfire Server architecture and high node servers.
• Experience with local disc caching, smart resource pools, and EC2 farm horizontal scaling.
• Knowledge of Web.config and Bootstrap.xml files.
• Experience with TIBCO Spotfire Server HotFix, Spotfire Client HotFix, and Automation Server package deployments.
• Ability to handle access for different roles to users and groups.
• Understanding of ITIL processes.
