Job Title: Vehicle Crash Analyst

We are seeking a skilled and experienced crash analyst to join our team. As a vehicle crash analyst, you will be responsible for developing, simulating, and validating vehicle crashworthiness performance across multiple crash modes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and define structural sections, load paths, and energy absorption mechanisms for front, side, rear, and roof crash modes.
  • Conduct crashworthiness simulations using LS-DYNA, accurately modeling failure patterns and impact behavior.
  • Correlate virtual crash simulations to physical test results; provide sign-off for virtual performance with detailed documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development of vehicle crashworthiness performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering.
  • Proficiency in LS-DYNA and related CAE tools.
  • Experience in correlating test data with simulation results.
  • Strong understanding of energy absorption, load paths, and structural crash behavior.
  • Familiarity with automotive crashworthiness standards.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience across entire vehicle development lifecycle.
  • Experience of working in projects involving advanced or non-standard materials.
