Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Website Optimization Specialist to fine-tune our custom WordPress site. This role involves finding the perfect balance between user experience, technical feasibility, and marketing strategy.

As a Website Optimization Specialist, you will be responsible for enhancing the user experience by conducting regular site audits, proposing data-driven solutions to address UX issues and page speed problems.

You will also collaborate with the marketing team to design and implement new landing pages, blog content, and conversion assets that drive results. Additionally, you will run A/B tests to validate conversion rate optimization strategies.

Key responsibilities include maintaining and updating our custom-coded WordPress theme, managing and troubleshooting WordPress plugins, and setting up integrations with tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4.

This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with a passion for clean coding and web development. If you have a solid understanding of PHP in a WordPress environment, proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript, and experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF), this could be the perfect role for you.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience managing WordPress sites with custom themes.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
  • Solid understanding of PHP in a WordPress environment.
  • Working knowledge of GA4, Tag Manager, and other analytics or performance tools.
  • Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
