Visual Storyteller

The Visual Storyteller will define the visual tone and color language across a diverse array of content, including premium educational videos and masterclasses. This role is pivotal in ensuring every frame meets the highest cinematic standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform color correction and grading on footage shot in S-Log/RAW profiles, delivering high-quality, visually consistent results.
  • Develop and maintain a cohesive color palette that aligns with each project's narrative, mood, and branding.

Technical Workflow & Deliverables:

  • Manage DaVinci Resolve workflows, from conforming and color grading to rendering and final delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with cinematographers and editors to ensure footage is captured and delivered to maximize grading flexibility.

Quality Control & Consistency:

  • Conduct QC checks on final outputs, ensuring no color discrepancies, banding, or compression issues.

Collaboration & Creative Input:

  • Work closely with directors, cinematographers, and post-production teams to interpret creative briefs and bring the director's vision to life through color.

We are seeking a talented Colorist with experience working in professional environments. The ideal candidate will have expertise in DaVinci Resolve Studio and familiarity in Adobe Premiere Pro or other NLEs. Proficiency in color-managed workflows, ACES, and HDR grading is a plus. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of color theory, color spaces, LUTs, scopes (waveform, vector, parade), and color calibration. Experience working with various camera formats, such as Sony FX series, Canon Cinema, Blackmagic, and RED cameras. Attention to Detail: Obsessive about consistency, color balance, and technical accuracy. Creative Sensibility: Strong sense of visual storytelling, with the ability to enhance mood and emotion through color while staying true to the brand identity. Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to articulate creative decisions and collaborate effectively with directors, DOPs, and editors.
