Job Description

As a researcher in physics, you will play a vital role in testing the reasoning capabilities of large language models (LLMs). Your primary responsibility will be to create complex physics problems that challenge these models, analyze their responses, and identify areas where they struggle with logical thinking. This work will help measure how well these models handle abstract concepts and structured problem-solving.

In this position, you will work independently to develop and refine your skills in creating engaging physics problems, reviewing AI-generated solutions, and providing insightful feedback. Your contributions will directly impact the development of AI systems capable of sophisticated reasoning and logical thought processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Education: Currently enrolled in or have completed a Ph.D. or Postdoctoral in Physics, Applied Physics, or a related field
  • Research and Analytical Skills: Strong research and analytical skills are essential for success in this role. You should be able to critically evaluate complex information and make informed decisions.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to provide clear, concise, and constructive feedback with examples is crucial. You should also be comfortable communicating your ideas and findings through written reports.
  • Independence and Self-Motivation: Working independently, you should be self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively to meet project deadlines.
