Job Title:

Java Software Developer

We are seeking an experienced Java Software Developer to contribute to our team. This is a long-term contract position with a global technology leader.

As a software developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and deploying scalable software systems. You will work closely with product owners, software architects, and other engineers to deliver high-quality software products to customers.

  • Developing software applications using Java programming language.
  • Designing and implementing software architecture.
  • Writing unit tests and integration tests to ensure software quality.
  • Deploying software systems to production environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to improve software quality.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in Java development.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS technologies such as SQS, DynamoDB, Kinesis/Kafka/Flink.
  • Experience working on Spring/Spring-Boot Framework.
  • Experience using Terraform to build infrastructure as code.
  • Experience building scalable systems and services in the cloud.
  • Experience with multi-repo GIT code bases, REST-based web services, testing frameworks, shell scripts, automated CI/CD pipelines.
