About the Role
This position will be part of our Ab Initio practice and the successful candidate must be able to efficiently communicate with internal teams as well as client personnel in order to deliver industry-leading solutions, detailed functional designs, and complex environments throughout the entire lifecycle of the project. The ideal candidate should have experience working with Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and exposure to DevOps, automation, and metadata management.

Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining the environment(s) supporting the Ab Initio platform, collaborating with different teams, ensuring the ETL platform is up and available, and rolling out new ETL products. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work independently, possess excellent communication and troubleshooting skills, and guide teams to find performance bottlenecks and differentiate between server vs code issues.

Requirements
Experience in CoE operating system installation & administration, EME administration, DevOps best practices, tagging/branching, WLM configuration, code promotion/versioning concepts, installation & configuration of Ab Initio product suite, job scheduling concepts, UNIX flavors (LINUX, AIX), UNIX commands, shell scripting, UNIX performance monitoring commands, at least one RDBMS, integrating various AI Products to LDAP/Active Directory, upgrading old AI products, creating & maintaining Multi-File System, configuring bridge security file & http/https authentication methods, and setting up different UNIX drivers required to integrate Ab Initio.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in dealing with Cloud Installations of Ab Initio products, exposure to Python for automation, basic networking concepts, OSI model/TCP-IP concepts, source code management platforms like Github/Gitlab, Jenkins, Unix/Linux configuration management, Ab Initio configuration on HDFS, Query> it, TDM, TFW, Ab Initio license and KSH/SpecInt estimation & reporting, knowledge of job scheduling tool Autosys/TWS/Control M, web application tool Tomcat/WebSphere, clustered deployment of AI products, UNIX storage concepts/file systems, Ansible/Chef/Puppet automation of infrastructure setup, system monitoring tools Grafana and Telegraf, and setting Control Center database.

$90,000 - $120,000 per annum depending on experience.
