Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned legal professional to join our team as an In-House Legal Advisor. This is a key role that will play a crucial part in managing all legal and compliance matters for our organization.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, preparing applications and filings, representing the company in proceedings, and coordinating with senior advocates and external legal advisors.
  • Responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and vetting contracts, agreements, affidavits, and applications, handling compliance-related work across corporate, real estate, and regulatory matters, and representing the company in legal proceedings, hearings, and government offices when required.
  • Other key responsibilities will include preparing and filing applications, petitions, and responses with accuracy and timeliness, maintaining organized legal records and case files, and coordinating with senior advocates, external counsel, and consultants to ensure smooth handling of ongoing matters.
  • The In-House Legal Advisor will also be responsible for monitoring changes in relevant laws/regulations and keeping management updated, providing strategic legal advice to management on various transactions and disputes.

Requirements

  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or Master's degree in Law (LL.M.).
  • Be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council of India.
  • Have a minimum of 3 years of experience in litigation, compliance, or corporate law (real estate exposure preferred).
  • Possess strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory processes, property laws, and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills to work with senior lawyers.
  • Ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines independently.
