Job Title: Key Risk Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cat modeling and Treaty Modelling, with a proven track record of success in risk assessment and analysis.

About the Role
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 5-6 members, providing high-quality risk assessments, and understanding location information to prioritize high-value and high-risk locations.
  • They will also be responsible for formatting, scrubbing, and arranging data in a manner understood by the model, maintaining exposure databases, and analyzing their completeness and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Risk Assessment: Provide high-quality risk assessments of individual accounts or portfolios based on information provided in schedule or modeling data.
  • Data Management: Format, scrub, and arrange data in a manner understood by the model.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of 5-6 members.
  • Database Maintenance: Maintain exposure databases and analyze their completeness and accuracy.
Requirements:
  • 6 years' experience in Cat modelling/Treaty modelling with insurance/reinsurance experience.
  • Exposure to AIR touchstone, SQL, MS office proficiency.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Excel manipulation, functions at a foundation level.
  • Good problem-solving skills.
  • Insurance certification/Insurance projects in dissertation.
  • Advance Excel/VBA programming language.
  • Team management skills.
