Electrical Tender Specialist

This is a key role that involves handling medium voltage (MV) electrical projects from tendering to estimation.

  • Tenders are handled by providing support to the senior team member in day-to-day actions, and by efficiently processing customer Request For Quotations to meet their requested dates.
  • In case of inability to meet customer requested dates, escalations are made to the senior team member for review and resolution.
  • The candidate will be responsible for ensuring correct requirements are delivered as per customer specifications, clarifying any ambiguities prior to uploading requests in bFO.
  • Awareness of any non-compliance in offers must be ensured for customers and opportunity leaders.
  • All terms and conditions must be standard; deviations from these standards require raising to the senior team member prior to offer upload.
  • Handover documents are prepared as per ETO Toolbox Classification, with attendance at handover meetings representing the tendering team.
  • Self development is encouraged through various means such as Schneider University, e-learning or external training.
