Job Title: Book Typesetter

We are seeking an experienced Book Typesetter to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for handling book typesetting and page layout design using Adobe InDesign.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Handle typesetting for books using Adobe InDesign (Mac/Windows).
  • Work on Adobe Acrobat, PDF technologies, and printer file creation.
  • Implement revision corrections, book compilation, and preflighting.
  • Work with XML workflow and customer instructions.

Requirements:

  • A graduate degree with at least 3 years of experience in pagination/typesetting.
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Acrobat, and PitStop.
  • Understanding of proof markings and layout specifications.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
