Farm Operations Specialist

The primary objective of this role is to oversee the day-to-day operations of a farm, ensuring that all activities are carried out in accordance with established standards and best practices. This includes managing the preparation of land, procuring necessary inputs, planning for seed purchases based on the plantation strategy, and continuously monitoring crop health.
To be successful in this position, candidates must possess a strong understanding of agricultural practices and be able to effectively manage teams and resources. They should also be familiar with the latest techniques and technologies used in farming, including digital integration and sustainable practices.
This is a field-based role that requires close collaboration with laborers, making it essential for candidates to be willing to get their hands dirty and take an active role in daily operations.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Operations Management: Prepare Land specific Package of Practices for Energy Crop Farming, develop and implement planting, cultivation, and harvesting plans, oversee resource utilization, ensure quality control, optimize yield, manage labor efficiently, and maintain accurate records.
- Sustainability and Compliance: Implement sustainable agricultural practices, adhere to environmental stewardship and social responsibility, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Communication and Leadership: Train, motivate, and lead a team of employees, foster a positive work environment, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
