Software Development Specialist

This role requires a highly skilled professional with expertise in JavaScript based frameworks like jQuery, prototype, and AngularJS.
The ideal candidate should possess a solid understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript concepts, experience in developing Single Page Applications using AngularJS, and exposure to Node.js.
Additionally, the successful candidate will have good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 along with Responsive design frameworks like Bootstrap, familiarity with design patterns and web application architectures, and experience working with REST based web services or other server-based APIs.
In this hybrid role, you will work from home 3 days a week and spend 4 days in the office. A minimum of 4-6 years of experience is required, including at least 1 year in a support environment.
- Expertise with JavaScript based frameworks like jQuery, prototype, and AngularJS
- Solid understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript concepts
- Experience in developing Single Page Applications using AngularJS
- Exposure to Node.js
- Understanding of Usability & UI guidelines
- Experience writing code in Java
- Familiarity with design patterns and web application architectures
- Experience working with REST based web services or other server-based APIs
- Knowledge of Java enterprise development (Spring, JPA, EJB or JSF)
- Knowledge of unit testing and build processes
- Hands-on experience with Java web applications servers
