ServiceNow Tester Role Overview

This position involves evaluating the performance of integrated systems under different loads, particularly for real-time integrations. A successful candidate should have strong technical skills and experience in testing HR workflows that span both platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and executing test cases for employee processes that cross multiple systems from Workday to ServiceNow and other enterprise applications.
  • Experience with data exchange between ServiceNow and Workday via their respective APIs, including REST and SOAP interfaces often using ServiceNow's Integration Hub.
  • Conducting thorough regression testing for every ServiceNow update or Workday patch to ensure integrations remain intact.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of Workday HR and Colleague environments as well as expertise in testing and designing end-to-end test cases.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Extensive ServiceNow tester experience.
  • Strong understanding of Workday HR.
  • Colleague experience specifically involving the employee-facing side of HR systems ensuring a positive and seamless user experience.
  • Expertise in testing HR workflows that span both platforms including automated onboarding offboarding and other employee life-cycle events initiated in Workday and executed in ServiceNow.
  • Performance testing skills for evaluating the performance of integrated systems under different loads.
  • Maintain comprehensive test documentation including test plans cases and results.

Able to work independently or collaboratively as part of a team to deliver high-quality results efficiently and effectively.
