The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate test results, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing new test procedures as needed. They will also contribute to the development of automated test suites and ensure that all tests are thoroughly executed and documented.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for Datacom products
Develop and maintain automated test suites using Python, leveraging frameworks like PyATS and Robot Framework
Utilize PyTest for unit testing and integration testing of software components
Gain in-depth knowledge of L2/L3 protocols (e.g., Ethernet, IP, MPLS, VLAN, QoS) and their implementation in switches and routers
Thorough understanding of control plane and data plane operations in network devices
Experience with traffic generators (e.g., IXIA, Spirent) for performance testing and traffic generation
Conduct root cause analysis and debug complex issues related to test failures
Maintain accurate and detailed test reports
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in networking technologies and testing methodologies
