About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of our company by designing and releasing intuitive and powerful solutions that will empower both our internal teams and external users.

You will lead the design team and be the lead for our design strategy, setting a vision for user experience across our products. In this role, you'll build and lead a team of talented product designers, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Strategy: Define and drive the holistic design vision for our products, ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience across internal and external applications.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a team of product designers, working closely with HR and learning & development teams to influence and evolve career frameworks in alignment with organization goals and talent aspirations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional leaders in product management, engineering, and data science to align on product strategy, goals, and roadmaps.
  • User Advocacy: Advocate for the user through research, testing, and feedback, ensuring design decisions are informed by a deep understanding of user needs and behaviors.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading a team of designers who design and ship AI-powered products or features, with exceptional design skills, strategic thinking, and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, HCI, or a related field, or equivalent.
  • 12+ years of experience in product design within a technology or product-centric company.
  • Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies, with a track record of using data to inform design decisions.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Previous experience working on AI-powered products and/or curiosity about the rapidly evolving landscape and its impact on design and user experience.
