Wind Turbine Installation Site Manager

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a highly skilled Wind Turbine Installation Site Manager to lead our wind project execution team across Pan India.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and executing daily site activities based on MS Project and POD to ensure seamless execution of wind turbine installation projects.
  • Key responsibilities include managing crane planning, mobilization, and heavy material movement to optimize project timelines and costs.
  • The site manager will supervise WTG installation activities, ensuring alignment with drawings and specifications to guarantee high-quality outcomes.
  • Additional duties include allocating work to contractors and engineers, monitoring labor, tools, and equipment, and conducting site inspections to verify material readiness, safety, and compliance.
  • The role also involves ensuring proper execution of internal line works and survey-based layouts, and coordinating contractor attendance, skill card verification, and toolbox talks to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Supporting customer inspections and ensuring timely sign-off of milestones (WCC) by resolving execution and commissioning queries through cross-functional coordination is also an essential part of the job.

Mechanical & Technical Oversight

  • As a Wind Turbine Installation Site Manager, you will be responsible for approving crane movement routes and ensuring lift planning is in place to prevent accidents and damage to equipment.
  • You will validate the fitness of lifting tools, jigs, and fixtures to guarantee their reliability and effectiveness.
  • The site manager will also lead the establishment and operation of site repair facilities to provide efficient maintenance and repair services.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of relevant experience in wind project execution and a willingness to work across Pan India are required.
