Job Title: Merchandiser

Merchandising is a vital function in the production process of woven garments.

  • We are seeking an experienced Merchandiser to oversee the entire merchandising process from start to finish.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills to deliver products that meet customer requirements and timelines.

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Work closely with the Design team to develop seasonal collections based on customer needs.
    • Build relationships with buyers to negotiate prices and confirm orders.
    • Manage material orders effectively to optimize budget and costs.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in handling both small and high-value businesses.
    • Strong communication skills with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
    • Technical knowledge of woven garment manufacturing.
    • Leadership and management experience.
    • Demonstrate ownership and commitment to job responsibilities.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Textiles, Apparel Merchandising, or Fashion Technology.
  • 1-8 years of experience as a Merchandiser in a woven garment factory (buyer handling experience preferred).
  • Understanding of woven fabrics, garment construction, costing, and production processes.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ERP/MIS systems.
  • Ability to multitask, handle pressure, and meet deadlines.
