Job Title: Backend Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at Ace Recruitment & Placement Consultants Pvt. Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Node.js development, experience with microservices architecture, and a passion for designing and implementing efficient data models and storage solutions using DynamoDB.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain highly scalable and performant backend systems using Node.js and microservices architecture.
  • Design and implement efficient data models and storage solutions using DynamoDB.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers on API integration and data exchange.
  • Implement robust security measures and data protection practices in the application and AWS environment.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and testable code adhering to best practices.
  • Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing within the development team.
  • Analyze functional and technical requirements to design and maintain secure and performant solutions.
  • Participate in system design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
  • Drive the development process, including version control, testing, and deployment.
  • Document Node.js processes, database schemas, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Identify and recommend improvements to processes and technologies for enhanced efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Node.js development.
  • Strong expertise in Node.js and its ecosystem (Express.js, NestJS, etc.).
  • In-depth knowledge of Amazon DynamoDB and its functionalities for data storage and retrieval.
  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices architectures.
  • Experience with API development and integration (RESTful APIs preferred).
  • Excellent understanding of database management principles and strong SQL skills (familiarity with PostgreSQL or MySQL is a plus).
  • Proficiency in writing clean, maintainable, and testable code.
  • Experience with version control systems (Git preferred).
  • Solid understanding of security best practices for Node.js applications and AWS environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Go programming language.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of additional AWS services (S3, Lambda, etc.) is a plus.

Additional Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
  • Ability to document code and processes clearly and concisely.
  • Availability to support critical issues outside of regular business hours (on-call rotation may be required).
