We are seeking a skilled Visual Effects Artist to join our team and contribute to the creation of high-quality, photo-realistic simulations for various projects.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in simulation and visual effects within the CGI, VFX, or gaming industry. They will be responsible for creating complex simulations, including smoke, dust, fire, water, particles, cloth, destruction, and rigid/soft body dynamics.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create high-quality simulations using Houdini, Maya, and Unreal Engine.
  • Develop procedural workflows for efficient, scalable, and flexible simulation setups.
  • Collaborate with lighting, modeling, animation, and compositing teams to integrate simulations into final shots.
  • Optimize simulations for offline 4k cinematic rendering and real-time pipelines.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Experience: Proven track record in simulation/FX within the CGI, VFX, or gaming industry.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Houdini (Vellum), Maya, and Unreal Engine.
  • Simulation Skills: Expertise in particle FX, fluids, destruction, cloth, and dynamic simulations.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with procedural workflows, Houdini shading, and Python scripting.
