Job Opportunity for an EMT Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) trainer to educate and mentor aspiring EMTs. As a key member of our training team, you will play a crucial role in equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to excel in emergency medical services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct classroom and practical training sessions on CPR, trauma response, patient care, and other EMT skills.
  • Develop and update training materials to reflect the latest medical practices, protocols, and standards.
  • Evaluate students' performance through tests, simulations, and real-world scenarios, providing constructive feedback.
  • Maintain training equipment, including manikins, AEDs, and medical tools, ensuring they are functional and up-to-date.
  • Ensure all training programs meet state and national certification requirements, such as NREMT standards.
  • Stay informed about advancements in emergency care and incorporate them into training programs.
Requirements:
  • Certification as an EMT-Basic, Advanced, or Paramedic with valid instructor credentials.
  • Minimum of 3 years of field experience as an EMT or Paramedic.
  • Prior teaching or training experience is preferred.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
  • Proficiency in using simulation tools and training technology.
